On Sunday 1 March 2019, Duncan entered the Berkhamsted Half Marathon, which fundraises for St Francis Hospice, and completed it in 1hr 50m – which is a better time than he hoped – while his mother was collecting sponsorship for his run. He raised £100 for Phakamisa, hopefully, to go towards the repair or replacement of the present vehicle.
